This API provides public access to event and occurrence data managed by Stockholm Business Region. It enables developers, partners, and third-party platforms to retrieve structured information about events and activities in the Stockholm region.

The API is designed to support tourism platforms, city guides, mobility services, and other applications that require up-to-date event and activity information for the Stockholm region.

Stockholm Business Region aims to provide high-quality, up-to-date and consistent data across all API endpoints.

Key quality criteria include:

Accuracy – The data are validated by editors or verified partners before being published.
Timeliness – Data is continuously updated, and changes to events, occurrences, or venue information are reflected in the API in a timely manner as they are registered in the internal systems.
Completeness – Required fields such as title, description, dates, and location are included for all entries. Optional fields are populated when information is available.
Consistency – Uniform data structures and formats are enforced across endpoints.
Reliability – The service is monitored to ensure stable availability, predictable response structures, and paginated responses for large datasets.

The data provided through this API originates from www.visitstockholm.com data and includes organizers, cultural institutions, venue partners, municipalities, and tourism stakeholders across the Stockholm region.

All contributing data providers submit event information through standardized input forms or submitted by the Stockholm Business Region’s editorial team. Submitted data is reviewed by Stockholm Business Region’s editorial team.

Taxonomies for categories and subcategories are centrally maintained and reflect the official classification used by Stockholm Business Region for events and activities in the region.
